It just takes a few easy steps to start a skincare regimen from scratch, and you’ll be astonished at how much of a change you’ll see after only a few weeks of doing so. Without further ado, we present to you the steps for a basic yet effective skin care routine for men, so enjoy.

Step One: Cleanse

Step 1 is straightforward. It’s easy to wash your face. To use most products, just moisten your face with warm water and apply a nickel-sized quantity to your fingers. To activate the lather, rub your hands together a few times, then massage your hands in circles all over your face above the collarbone for approximately 30 seconds.

If you have a beard, press the cream in for additional 15 seconds or so with the pads of your fingers, rubbing more aggressively up and down against the grain of your hair. Alternatively, you can get a gel cleanser so you can use it at any particular moment. Just put a size of a nickel worth of cleanser on your palm and gently apply it.

Step Two: Tone

Toning is a phase that many people overlook, but skin-care enthusiasts take it extremely seriously. Toning is similar to laying down primer before painting if scrubbing is cleaning your canvas. Toning is especially beneficial for men suffering from acne, ingrown hairs, or aging indications. The good news is that you can use a quality body wash if you do not prefer some of the products. Also, it is the simple steps that carry the important concepts for all skin tones.

Toner is typically applied by soaking a cotton pad in it and rubbing it all over your face and neck, but some aestheticians recommend putting a quarter-size amount of product in one palm, putting your hands together, and pressing it onto your forehead, cheeks, and neck, blending it in with your fingertips as needed.

Step Three: Serum

This step has a little more effort nets. If you’re new to skincare, there’s a high chance you don’t have anything in this category in your medical cabinet. This is unfortunate since it might be the most crucial. A serum is a substance that has the viscosity of a gel or a light lotion and has a high concentration of performance components. Serums are the way to go if you want to step up your game.

Serums are frequently packaged in a dropper container with a scientific appearance. Apply two to three drops from the pipette to your fingers, then massage your hands together and swipe over your forehead, from the bridge of your nose outward toward the cheeks, and use whatever’s left to glide over the neck and jawline.

Step Four: Moisturizer

Although it’s just one step, you’ll need two separate moisturizers for morning and evening.

Before going outdoors in the morning, use a lightweight sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Sun protection is not just a matter of vanity when it comes to wrinkles and dark spots, but it is also the finest line of defense against skin cancer.

The evening step 4 is very important. Finish your evening regimen with a moisturizer that is thick enough to absorb into your skin without clogging pores or triggering outbreaks. The creamy texture of most moisturizers would appeal to anybody with normal to dry skin. Good skincare is not complete without a clay mask containing retinol serum with glycolic acid.

Step Five: Eye-Cream

The eye skin is very important. This can also change places with step four.  Apart from your lips, the skin behind your eyes is the thinnest on your face, so you must be very delicate here. Fortunately, eye creams are rather simple in that they address puffiness, dryness, and dark circles.

The application is the same regardless of the product: Place one half to one full pump of product on your ring finger’s pad, then press your other ring finger on it to evenly disperse the formula. Continue tapping the ring fingers along the outsides of the eyes, bringing them inside, until the product is mostly absorbed.

Also, remember to wear sunscreen with hyaluronic acid after the fine lines of the night cream you applied the night before. Your daily sunscreen with salicylic acid is very important. Get a men SPF 20 sunscreen which will benefit you after applying weeks of moisturizer.
