There is nothing more enjoyable than carrying out some work outdoors, and there is nothing more enjoyable than sipping on some delicious iced coffee while doing so. It might seem like searching for the holy grail to locate a coffee shop, bakery, or bar where one can work in peace and have a peaceful chat with friends.

The following is a list of some of my favorite places in New York City to get some work done, catch up with a buddy, or get a cup of coffee.

Intelligentsia Coffee

Bunna Cafe

The concept of Bunna cafe is simple. They have excellent outdoor tables and additional resources of bistro tables which make this place excellent for outdoor seating. Coffee permeates every aspect of life in Ethiopia. It is the engine that propels not just the economy but also our day-to-day lives.

Coffee is consumed multiple times a day by Ethiopians, either in the form of espresso, a cortado, or as part of the country’s traditional coffee ceremony.

This ceremony involves the intricate and personal process of making coffee from the raw bean to the brewed beverage, all the while bringing people together in conversation and celebration as the process progresses.

Liebre Cafe

a small coffee shop on a corner of a street

The Liebre Cafe in Sunset Park is operated by a kind and welcoming brother-and-sister duo, who have managed to keep the business open during the epidemic. They have roasts from Partner in the store, and the pastry counter is constantly stocked with something mouthwatering to choose from, such as guava and cheese empanadas or ham-and-cheese cachitos.

There are a few tables and chairs set up outside beneath an umbrella, and there is plenty more sitting available in the park that gives the area its name, which is situated just across the street from the park. The coffee is brewed with enough love. The staff encourages you to take a calling card and refer the cafe to friends.

Boule & Cherie

a white color restaurant bar with people waiting for their orders infront of it

Boule & Cherie is a bright and lively place that has been operating since 2015 and is located on the Upper West Side. They now have an outside terrace set up with adequate WiFi connectivity. Vogue editors have written about this place also.

The coffee served here is from Stumptown, and in addition to the usual assortment of pastries, there is also a range of quiches and frittatas available for a proper breakfast or lunch throughout the workday. It is open every day from 7:30 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon. Perfect place with a wine bar and sidewalk seating. You will sometimes enjoy live music as the family of support of the Caffe always introduces something new to entertain guests.

Partners Coffee

The New York City institution Partners provides customers with a comprehensive selection of specialty coffee beverages, baked products, and more substantial meal choices for breakfast and lunch. It is close to a flower shop, so the smell will always be awesome.

The kitchen of the company’s Long Island City site is open from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., at which time breakfast burritos, wraps, and sandwiches may be ordered. A variety of pastries is available throughout the day at this location.

Wi-Fi may be accessed from the outside sitting area, which is also accessible. In addition to its site in the West Village, Partners also operates a store in Williamsburg. The backyard spaces of the open streets are combined with delicious food and cocktails.

They also have a mailing list and the outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying fried chicken or something from the pastry program. Grab dinner and enjoy the welcome space of the neighborhood residents.

Corner Slice

a bakery with a menu above the breads which are in glass

Even though it’s not a coffee shop, there are times when getting through the day successfully requires both a cup of coffee in the morning and an afternoon slice of pizza. The drip coffee

Corner Slice provides both options to its customers: its distinctive square pies may be purchased by the slice for the price of $5, and patrons can also receive a cup of hot or iced coffee to accompany their meal.

The restaurant offers patrons the option of sitting outside in a space that is both covered and heated. They offer patio dining and if you are visiting for the first time then the original location combined with the solid menu will have you in awe.

Other similar NYC restaurants can be found in the union square, canal street, or on the lower east side close to central park and on the upper east side close to the 7th ave and grand street.
